Piggy in the Middle

This is us playing Piggy in the Middle.  Austin
We love playing Piggy in the Middle because we had fun.  Tommy

We all had fun playing Piggy in the Middle.  It's  really, really fun.. Dylan
When you play Piggy in the middle someone is throwing the ball and someone is catching it and someone is in the middle.  We played with two people in the middle trying to catch the ball.  Lauren

 

Maths Time

In maths we were learning about different shapes.  We learnt about the octagon having 8 sides like an octopus has 8 legs. We also learnt a great word that made our tongues feel like flibber flubber from Dr Seuss' book Fox in Socks. The word is parallel.  Try saying it 5 times quickly!

After that we made shapes using our bodies.  Circles

This week Austin brought his kitten in to show. As well, some of the boys had a great time at lunchtime building a great big sandcastle that had loads of tunnels and even a smiley face on the outside.  They took the photo themselves.
